Job Title: Junior Architect
Reporting to: Project Architect / Senior Architect
Role Summary
The Junior Architect plays a vital supporting role in the design, planning, and execution of architectural projects. This entry-level position is intended for recent graduates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture who are beginning their professional journey. Working under the supervision of senior architects, the Junior Architect is involved in design development, technical documentation, research, coordination, and site-related activities.

Key Responsibilities
Design & Documentation
Assist Senior Architects in the design, planning, and execution of various architectural projects
Support the preparation of drawings, 3D models, diagrams, and presentation materials
Produce detailed technical drawings and assist in design documentation
Review and revise designs based on internal or client feedback
Participate and contribute to design reviews and quality assurance processes
Research & Analysis
Conduct research and site/context analysis to inform design decisions
Gather data and precedents to support project development
Collaboration & Coordination
Work closely with Senior Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Project Managers, Construction Managers, and Suppliers
Participate in internal and client meetings and assist with presentation materials
Help ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and studio standards
Site & Project Support
Assist in site visits, surveys, and inspections as required
Provide support in documentation reviews, redlines, and follow-ups
Support the team in various administrative and coordination tasks
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
0–3 years of professional experience in an architectural studio
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Revit is a strong advantage
Strong design sensibility and visual communication skills
