Job Title: Senior Interior Designer
Reporting to: Interior Design Director
We see interior design as an extension of architecture—one that demands a holistic understanding of form, space, and material. As a Senior Interior Designer with architectural training, you will lead the development and execution of interior architecture from concept through construction. The work spans—but is not limited to—the hospitality and high-end residential sectors, with an emphasis on spatial quality, detailing, and integration with the architectural envelope.
We prioritize architects within our interiors team, given the architectural nature and technical depth of our design work.
Key Responsibilities
Design Leadership
Lead interior architecture and design across all project phases
Translate concepts into well-resolved spatial experiences with strong attention to proportion, flow, and detail
Maintain a high standard of design quality and material refinement
Technical Oversight
Oversee space planning, joinery detailing, finishes, and specifications
Review technical drawings and outputs of junior team members for accuracy and design consistency
Coordinate with architectural, engineering, and specialist consultants to ensure integrated solutions
Ensure compliance with building codes, accessibility, and regulatory requirements
Project Management
Manage interior design deliverables, schedules, and documentation through all stages
Oversee tendering, procurement, and construction detailing
Attend site inspections to monitor quality and execution of interiors
Team Mentorship & Collaboration
Supervise and mentor junior interior designers and interns
Promote a collaborative, accountable, and design-driven team culture
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Communicate concepts and design intent clearly in presentations and meetings
Foster strong client relationships through proactive engagement and thoughtful design solutions
Practice Development
Stay informed on emerging materials, design trends, and interior innovations
Contribute to the studio’s continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and design discourse
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design; licensed Architect preferred
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in interior architecture and design
Portfolio showcasing work in hospitality, high-end residential, and other commercial interior projects
Experience managing interior projects from concept to construction
Familiarity with sustainability and wellness standards is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
Strong spatial awareness, detailing, and material sensibility
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite; Revit knowledge is a plus
Excellent design, English communication and presentation skills
Strong coordination, organization, and time management skills
Ability to lead teams, manage multiple deadlines, and resolve challenges proactively
Collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset
