Abby is a dedicated interior designer with a flair for creating elegant and functional spaces. She earned her degree in Interior Design from the University of Santo Tomas, a testament to her commitment to excellence in her field. Enthralled by the pages of interior design magazines and architectural digests from a young age, this early passion evolved into a professional career. Her keen eye for detail and love for aesthetics drive her to transform ordinary rooms into extraordinary living environments. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and painting, activities that fuel her creativity and provide a sense of relaxation. She continues to draw inspiration from the latest design trends, ensuring her work remains fresh and innovative.

Graduated with “Best Thesis of the Year” at the University of Santo Tomas in 2013, He quickly amassed a collection of accolades. He consistently placed 1st in various regional and national design competitions, solidifying his reputation for innovation. Notably, he received the prestigious UST “Benavides Outstanding Achievement Award” twice, in 2009 and 2011. These early achievements, along with his recognition as a finalist in the 2014 Taranta Powerstation Design Competition in Italy, showcase his exceptional talent and passion in architecture. While working at WTA, his design contributions were recognized internationally. The firm’s projects, on which he played a key role, garnered multiple World Architecture Festival finalist awards. Having been operational since 1974, the original hotel has expanded twice and, to date, the structure has two wings. The old wing is a two-storey building while the new wing is 5-storeys. The hotel’s interior showcases the use of pinewood bringing the guests closer to nature. The climate is cool and the place is ideal for business conventions or weekend getaways. ORGANIC FUNCTIONALITY Designing with the objectivity of creating spaces that stimulates relaxation and intimacy with nature, spaces which condition the mind and channels how people experience spaces whilst prioritizing human needs. LOCAL LUXURY The Banaue hotel imbibes the warmth of a cabin with locally sourced natural wood finishes and soft, neutral tones. Fronting the expansive shoreline of Red Beach, its 65 guest suites along with 1st class amenities including three grand ballrooms, a gym, a spa, and family rooms make a tropical retreat. The plan is cut and clustered to frame surprising views and openings throughout the development. The hotel building surrounds the pool deck to make it private and to provide a contrasting backdrop to the open vistas of the beach. A tropical sojourn with the sea, the architecture of The Oriental Leyte takes advantage of the climate by creating a seamless transition from interior to exterior. The sides facing beach appear very open, light, and permeable to encourage a seamless spatial relationship with the sea. Though Brutalism is opaque in its most common nature, the design feels light and transparent due to the juxtaposing glass that offers transparency amidst concrete’s opacity. The Design Center, housing numerous designer brands in the construction industry, is a unique multi-level space highlighted by an amphitheater for different uses such as product presentations and lectures among others. Connect The site is centrally located in the heart of San Juan, acting as a connecting tissue between its residents and their daily needs. Creating an accessible venue for grocery shopping, looking for the next living room couch, or even just a place to meet and hang out. Compliment Being a multi-functional structure, the tower compliments its surrounding environment in a lot of ways. A playfully designed facade offers a refreshing and iconic view along the monotonous stretch of Ortigas Avenue. Different kinds of stores will also contribute to the needs that will arise from future developments in the area. The Madison Design Center can also be qualified for a LEED Green Building Certification with just a few tweeks, complimenting not just the community but the environment as well. Platform The program creates a platform for the display and distribution of networked and interrelated services and retailers by providing dedicated experiential spaces for the public. Interconnected corridors dismiss the presence of dead ends, allowing for good circulation on the residential floor. Office floors are given open layouts with panoramic views. While the ground floor is purposely designed to have a large open area for public engagements. The flow and program of the project is closely related to the curves and form of the building thus, allowing for a seamless design from road level all the way up to the undulating sky garden and amenities desk. The circumferential roof garden allows the users to traverse along all sides of the building, giving them numerous fantastic views of their surroundings.
