A simple home erupting with play and color at the seams, the structure forms into a welcoming gesture that draws in guests of all ages. Playful curves in bright, warm colors are at the forefront of its façade, flaunting a burst of color that breaks the monotonous backdrop of the city. This wall of color is actually the shared service corridor that joins the nursing home and child care facility. It symbolizes the backbone of these two otherwise different buildings --- a set support spaces that fuel the facilities' operations. In appreciation of the unseen efforts of our caregivers and houseparents, the design makes it a point to showcase our unsung heroes by painting them as the beating heart of residential care.
