Highlighting student traffic, the blood line of the school; A seamless band of color that wraps the exterior of the school acting as both additional canopy for the ground floor, as well as an elevated walkway that connects all buildings. Railings, canopies, cantilevered walks, staircases, and all elements of movement are painted the same color that to encourage intuitive way finding --- a visible spine that you will not get lost in. This spine binds the current disconnected school together. The walkways will be like flowing lava and the building frames will be the skeleton that contains them. Building envelopes dictated by exposed steel skeleton are white, that allow the colored pathways to show through but also tames them in place. Framing them in their respective building activity. Passive frames active.
