Description

This 2-storey residence for a family of four rests just on the divide between the urban and the rural. Despite its modern envelope, the layout remains in tune with its tropical environment. It features an open plan with a high ceiling, catching breezes from the location’s fresh provincial air. The expanse of nature surrounding this family home was incorporated into its architecture, retaining the original plot's trees and foliage. To facilitate open and inviting repose from the city, we designed pockets of green space to welcome its users into natural states of grounding, calm, and mindfulness.
